The way this plot works is simple. There are no week changes. This is the overall plot-line until the end of the summer, at which point more plot will be put into place. You can thread any time between June 17th - August 31st, although OOC timeframe will end on August 15th, when a new plot will be posted.
Please keep a timeline of threads in your character journals to make sure that you keep track of what has happened when. We don't want your characters talking about something that happens a month after they're talking about.
To find weather for any day, you may go
here and search the day. Please use this for the weather, as we don't want inconsistancies with the threads.
If anyone wishes to volunteer their characters family to be a part of any of the plot below, or has any ideas for things to fit into this plot, please comment with your suggestions!
June 18thTests are over, students are packing their bags, and the seventh years take part in their graduation in the Great Hall. The mood is somber without the Headmaster there to attend and take his place as the Head of Ceremonies, but Professor McGonagall fills in splendidly despite everyone's sadness.
That evening, the Hogwarts Express rolls out from Hogsmeade, heading back to London.
July 10thA statement is released from the Ministry; it announces the safety of Albus Dumbledore, but his captors demand a heavy ransom in return for the wizard -- it includes not only monetary value, but immoral demands such as the delivery of Muggles to Voldemort's hands, the wards on Hogwarts removed, and Ministry positions opened to Death Eaters. Malfoy continues to shock those that oppose him (and please those he most cares for) when he retaliates against the 'captors' and says that no ransom will be given, nor negotiations made.
He justifies this to the Dumbledore-supporters by convincing most of them that not only is Dumbledore old and nearing the end of his life, but he would want it this way; he'd not want the wizarding world to bow to Voldemort's whim, no matter who he held captive.
